How to order

HOW TO ORDER

At MEK Design, every piece is handcrafted to order.
To ensure your furniture is made exactly to your specifications, please follow the steps below depending on the product type.

1. UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE

(Chairs, Armchairs, Sofas, Bar Stools, Counter Stools)

Step 1 — Open the fabric gallery (Price Groups)
On every product page you will find links to our Price Groups.
Click the link → enter our fabric gallery → choose your textile.

Each fabric has:

fabric name
colour name/number

Step 2 — Return to the product page

After choosing your fabric, go back to the product page.

Step 3 — Select the correct Price Group

In the product variants, select the Price Group that corresponds to your chosen fabric.

Step 4 — Add a note with fabric details

In the checkout notes, write:

Fabric collection
Fabric name
Colour name/number

Example:
Fabric: Vogue – Colour 12
If your chair/bar stool has two fabrics (front & back)
Select the higher price group of the two chosen fabrics.

In the notes, write:

Fabric for the front (name + colour)
Fabric for the back (name + colour)

Example:
Front: Coco – Ivory 01
Back: Plush Velvet – Emerald 09

Step 5 — Choose legs / base

Each model has its own leg options in the variants:

Wooden legs — select the wood colour
Steel legs — black / steel / brass
Gold or silver cups (if available)
Powder‑coated legs — select a colour from variants or choose RAL colour (if available)
If choosing a RAL colour, select the variant “RAL colour” and write the exact RAL number in the notes.

2. SOFAS & ARMCHAIRS

The ordering process is identical to upholstered chairs:

Open the Price Group link
Choose your fabric in the gallery
Select the correct Price Group in variants

Add a note with fabric name + colour

Choose leg/base options (if available)

3. DINING TABLES

Wooden Tables

Select from the variants:

Wood colour
Table length
Extendable option (if available)
Some models allow:

Powder‑coated legs — choose from variants or select “RAL colour” and write the RAL number in the notes.

Stone Tables (Sintered Quartz / Stone)

Select from the variants:

Price Group of the stone
Specific stone design (opens as a list in variants)
Some models allow:

Leg colour — black / white / steel / brass / RAL
Top construction — glass support or MDF support (if available)
Edge finish — Chamfered or Straight (if available)
If choosing RAL, select the RAL variant and write the colour number in the notes.

4. COFFEE TABLES

Depending on the model, select:

Wood colour (for wooden tops)
Stone type (for stone tops)
Leg colour — variants or RAL
Size (if the model offers multiple dimensions)
If RAL is chosen, write the exact RAL number in the notes.

5. LIVING ROOM FURNITURE

(Sideboards, TV Units, Cabinets, Dressers)

Each product has its own set of variants. Select:

Wood colour
Size / width (if multiple sizes are available)
Front design (if applicable)
Leg/base type (if applicable)
No need to choose material type — each product already has its material defined in its variants.

6. COMPLETE YOUR ORDER

Once all variants are selected:

Add the product to your cart
In the checkout notes, include:
Fabric name + colour (if applicable)
RAL colour (if applicable)
Front/back fabric details (if applicable)
If variants cover everything, notes are only needed for fabrics and RAL colours.

7. Production

After your order is confirmed, our craftsmen begin creating your piece.
Every item is made to order with exceptional care and attention to detail.

Production times are listed on each product page.
For bespoke or larger projects, we will keep you updated throughout the process.

8. Delivery

When your furniture is ready, we arrange delivery at a time convenient for you.
We offer secure and reliable delivery across the UK to ensure your order arrives safely and on time.

9. Warranty

All MEK Design furniture includes a two‑year warranty covering manufacturing defects and workmanship.

10. Returns

Because each piece is made to order and personalised to your specifications, returns are not possible once production has begun.
Please review all details carefully before confirming your order.
